The New York City Center of Self-Realization Fellowship is located at 217 East 28th Street, between Second and Third Avenues in Manhattan. This beautiful, four-story building was built as a New York City firehouse in 1893 - the year of our Guru's birth, by the the noted architect, Napoleon LeBrun. It has been completely renovated to meet the needs of Self-Realization Fellowship members living in the metropolitan area or visiting the New York area. Its more than 8,000 square feet of space include the main and overflow chapels, book room, Sunday school rooms, family room and office space, as well as room for social functions.
SRF Home-Study Lesson Series
Instruction in the practice of the techniques taught by Paramahansa Yogananda is presented in the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons, a comprehensive home-study series compiled from his lectures and writings. Covering a wide range of topics, the Lessons offer his inspiring and practical guidance for achieving balanced physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
